This painting was done up in north Georgia (USA) last september . What really captivated me was that the sky was clear crisp blue but I couldn't find much of any blue in the river below it was just reds, orange and yellow all over. I took photographs and did some studies . Back in my studio I had to combine photos , studies and memory
to finish the painting.
